      Be the band

Rhythm Stick's hands-on Samba Drum workshops teach participants to bang out beautiful world rhythms and create their own thumping compositions. These energetic, supportive drum sessions give participants an understanding of rhythm and music, working together as a team to produce one amazing groove.

After leading drum workshops for 16 years our Community Percussionist, Katie Mallard, has developed teaching style that is energetic and compassionate, allowing participants to really develop their skills and let themselves go to enjoy the rhythms. All instruments and full tuition are provided.

                                                                                           We also offer:
Body Percussion  -  Junk Percussion  -  Boomwhackers  - CPD & Team Building  -  African Drumming (with school drums)

"Katie's enthusiasm is infectious! She has a wonderful kind, calm and patient approach and makes the session so much fun and so accessible for all abilities. My 7yr old son and I took part in a drumming workshop then joined in a parade. We both loved it! The feeling of creating samba music together as a big group is exhilarating! Thank you."
