Why Artsmark?
The Artsmark Award is the only creative quality standard for schools and education settings, accredited by Arts Council England. It supports the health and wellbeing of pupils with arts, culture and creativity, ensuring every young person can be creative and access a diverse, high-quality cultural education.
Who is Artsmark for?
Artsmark with Rhythm Stick Drumming is open to all educational settings from KS1 to sixth form colleges, including pupil referral units and SEND.
Rhythm Stick Drumming for your Artsmark award
We're an Artmark partner, which means we deliver high quality arts education to help schools meet the Artsmark Criteria and seven Quality Principles. We believe that authentic arts projects really make a difference to each child’s wellbeing and achievement. Our hands-on sessions boost pride and self-esteem through the creative process and musical performance and participants leave our sessions with a real sense of artistic accomplishment. We visit educational settings to provide group percussion workshops for children or staff and within an hour the class are performing a beautiful groove together.
